1. Introduction and Acceptance
These Terms of Service (ToS) govern access to and use of the WEGO EXPRESS online platform at https://wegoexpress.net, as well as all international transport and logistics services offered by WEGO EXPRESS.
By accessing the platform, creating an account, or using our services, you unconditionally accept these ToS. If you do not accept these terms, please do not use our platform.
WEGO EXPRESS reserves the right to modify these ToS at any time. Changes take effect upon publication. Your continued use of the platform after modification constitutes acceptance of the new terms.
2. Platform Access
2.1 Account creation
Access to the WEGO EXPRESS client area requires account creation. Authentication is done via:
- Sign in with a Google account (OAuth 2.0)
- Credentials provided by WEGO EXPRESS for partner agencies
2.2 Access confidentiality
You are responsible for the confidentiality of your access credentials and all activities carried out under your account. You agree to notify us immediately of any unauthorized use at expresswego@gmail.com.
2.3 Availability
WEGO EXPRESS strives to ensure platform availability 24/7, but cannot guarantee uninterrupted availability. Maintenance interruptions may occur and will be announced whenever possible.
3. Services Offered
WEGO EXPRESS offers the following services:
- Package and goods transport between West Africa (Senegal, Gambia) and international destinations (USA, France, Europe, etc.)
- Real-time package tracking via the online platform
- Shipment management for partner agencies
- Quote requests for professional shipments
- Customer service via email and phone
WEGO EXPRESS reserves the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue all or part of its services with reasonable notice.
4. User Obligations
By using the WEGO EXPRESS platform, you agree to:
- Provide accurate, complete, and up-to-date information for all shipment declarations
- Accurately declare the nature, contents, weight, and value of packages
- Not ship prohibited goods (see section 7)
- Comply with customs regulations of origin and destination countries
- Not use the platform for illegal or fraudulent purposes
- Not attempt to access data belonging to other users or agencies
- Report any technical issues or security incidents without delay
Failure to comply with these obligations may result in suspension or termination of your account, without prejudice to any legal action.
5. Pricing and Payment
Applicable rates are those in effect at the time of shipment confirmation, as displayed on the platform or communicated by our sales team.
- Prices are expressed in CFA Franc (XOF) or Gambian Dalasi (GMD) depending on the context
- Prices include handling fees but may be subject to additional customs charges depending on the countries involved
- Late payment may result in service suspension
- Rates may be revised with 30 days' notice for contract clients
6. Liability and Limitations
6.1 WEGO EXPRESS liability
WEGO EXPRESS is liable for damage caused to packages during transport within the limits of the declared and insured amounts. Our liability is limited to the declared value of the package, capped according to the pricing terms.
6.2 Liability exclusions
WEGO EXPRESS cannot be held liable for:
- Damage resulting from inadequate packaging on your part
- Delays caused by force majeure events (natural disasters, strikes, customs blockages)
- Loss or damage of undeclared or prohibited goods
- Consequences of incorrect information provided by the sender
- Service interruptions caused by third parties (network operators, cloud providers)
6.3 Platform limitation
The online platform is provided "as is". WEGO EXPRESS does not guarantee that it will be free from errors or interruptions.
7. Prohibited Goods
The following goods are strictly prohibited from shipment via WEGO EXPRESS:
- Weapons, ammunition, and explosives of any kind
- Narcotics and illicit psychotropic substances
- Protected animal and plant species or their derivatives
- Hazardous, flammable, radioactive, or corrosive materials
- Falsified official documents or counterfeit currencies
- Goods subject to international embargo
- Any item whose import or export is prohibited by the countries concerned
WEGO EXPRESS reserves the right to refuse, retain, or hand over to competent authorities any package suspected of containing prohibited goods.
8. Intellectual Property
All elements of the WEGO EXPRESS platform (logo, design, texts, source code, interface) are the exclusive property of WEGO EXPRESS and are protected by applicable intellectual property laws.
Any reproduction, modification, distribution, or commercial use of these elements without prior written authorization is prohibited.
9. Termination
WEGO EXPRESS may suspend or terminate your access to the platform, with or without notice, in the event of:
- Violation of these ToS
- Fraudulent or suspicious activity
- Non-payment of amounts due
- Abusive use of the platform
You may also terminate your account at any time by contacting us at expresswego@gmail.com. Termination does not affect obligations arising before the termination date.
10. Governing Law and Jurisdiction
These ToS are governed by Senegalese law. In case of a dispute regarding interpretation or performance, the parties will endeavor to find an amicable solution.
Failing an amicable agreement, the dispute will be submitted to the competent jurisdiction of Dakar, Senegal.
